Inspection

Every Acura in the Certified Acura Pre-Owned vehicle program has been thoroughly inspected with a 182-point inspection process. Each vehicle is comprehensively tested on a full range of criteria. Acura's technicians check the vehicles extensively under the hood, inside the cabin, and from nose to tail. Here's just a small sample of the items they check:

Under the Hood – all of the essential components are checked under the hood, including the fluids, radiator, alternator, battery, water pump, A/C compressor, engine/transmission mounts, starter, and CV joints, as well as the exhaust system and suspension components.

Inside the Cabin – The dashboard gauges and lights are checked, along with the functionality of the power seats, shifter, navigation, and audio system.

Exterior – The cosmetics and function are scrutinized. The fit and finish of the front and rear bumpers are checked, as well as the doors, trunk and alloy wheels. The operation of the headlights, taillights, fuel door release, trunk release are tested, and the entire body is checked for dents and scratches. The tires and brakes are thoroughly examined.

Your Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle is covered by one of the following:

PRECISION CERTIFIED

• Eligible Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles: Acura vehicles 6 years old and newer
with 80,000 miles or fewer at time of delivery.

• Non-Powertrain Coverage: 2 years or 100,000 total odometer miles (whichever occurs
first) from the date of sale of the Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle if the New Vehicle
Limited Warranty has expired at the time of sale, or provides coverage after expiration
of the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty up to 6 years/100,000 total odometer
miles (whichever occurs first) from original In-Service Date.

• Powertrain Coverage: 7 years or 100,000 total odometer miles (whichever occurs first)
from original In-Service Date.

PRECISION USED

• Eligible Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles: Acura vehicles 10 Years old or newer
from their original In-Service Date at the time of sale.

• Non-Powertrain and Powertrain Coverage: 6 months or 7,500 miles (whichever occurs
first) beginning at the expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, or from the date
of sale of the Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle if the New Vehicle Limited Warranty
has expired at the time of sale.
Repairs covered by this program are limited
