Inspection

Following that, a used Ford goes under a 172-Point Inspection checklist before being called Certified. The areas covered by the inspection include:

• Exterior and interior features inspected
• Underhood, underbody and diagnostic system

The inspection is completed by factory-trained technicians that also recondition any component that does not meet program standards. If any component needs to be replaced, it is replaced with only new Ford Motorcraft® or Ford Authorized Replacement parts.

24-hour Roadside Assistance

Owning a Certified Pre-Owned Ford means that you'll also receive 24-hour attention. Roadside assistance is offered for the full duration of the Limited Warranty Coverage. That's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in case of a breakdown, blowout or bad weather. The 24-hour Roadside Assistance includes:

• Towing assistance rental car reimbursement (up to $30 per day for up to five days if the vehicle requires overnight mechanical repairs).
• Destination expense assistance of up to $75 to cover the emergency cost of a taxi, shuttle or rental car to get to your destination.
• Travel expense reimbursement of up to $500 for up to three days of lodging, meals and rental vehicle.
• Fuel delivery if you run out of gas, flat tire changes, jump starts and more.
